Job Title: Solution Architect

Location: Las Vegas, NV (Fully Onsite – Day 1)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native solutions. This role requires deep expertise in solution architecture, microservices, and AWS, along with strong leadership in Agile environments. The Solution Architect will act as the primary liaison between business and IT, driving technology strategy and ensuring successful implementation across multiple initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

Build and own the technology vision and solution strategy for assigned business domains

Perform end-to-end solution analysis, architecture design, planning, and implementation

Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) between business stakeholders and IT teams

Create solution architecture and high-level design documents

Decompose solutions into domains and services; design REST-based microservice APIs

Define and create epics, features, and user stories for development teams

Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Architects to align product roadmap and delivery

Lead development teams during implementation, translating business requirements into technical solutions

Present complex technical designs and proposals to technical and non-technical audiences

Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and approaches

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or related field

8+ years of overall experience, including 6–8 years in Solution Architecture

Proven experience creating:

Solution and high-level design documents

Domain-driven architectures

API designs and service contracts

Strong experience designing microservice-based architectures using REST APIs

Master-level understanding of software design principles and architecture patterns

Deep experience with Agile / Lean development methodologies

Strong, hands-on experience with AWS services

Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools:

Docker

Kubernetes

RedHat OpenShift

Strong proficiency in Java and Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases:

SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL

Redis, MongoDB

Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Ability to work with ambiguous and evolving business requirements and translate them into a clear technical roadmap

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities

Experience working effectively in global, cross-functional teams
