Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned
SAP Functional Analyst to lead the Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
workstream for a strategic Finance
Tax Engine Replacement initiative.
This role is critical in delivering a compliant,
efficient, and scalable solution leveraging SAP and Vertex Tax Engine integration.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP tax configuration, procurement processes, and cross-functional system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the P2P workstream for Finance Tax Engine Replacement initiatives
- Design and implement SAP–Vertex Tax Engine integrations
- Ensure tax compliance and accuracy across procurement and finance processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Tax, IT, and Security
- Support SAP configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities
- Participate in project implementation, system integration, and solution optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP P2P and tax configuration experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Vertex Tax Engine (mandatory)
- In-depth knowledge of SAP data structures and integration points
- Experience with:
- SAP Ariba
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ECC
- Archiving solutions (preferred)
- Experience in SAP implementation and administration
Preferred / Additional Skills
- SAP Security Design and role building experience
- Exposure to Transportation Management processes
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
