Job Title: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional / Solution Architect
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite / Hybrid)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional / Solution Architect to lead the design, integration, and optimization of Oracle EBS solutions across finance and supply chain domains. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise, strong technical understanding, and strategic insight to align Oracle EBS capabilities with enterprise business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the functional and solution architecture lead for Oracle EBS implementations and enhancements
Provide deep functional expertise across:
Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR)
Supply Chain (PO, Inventory, Order Management)
Projects (PA)
Analyze end-to-end business processes across finance, manufacturing, procurement, HR, and logistics
Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing Oracle EBS solution designs
Define and guide customization strategies using:
Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
Oracle Forms
PL/SQL
Design and oversee system integrations using APIs, Web Services, and middleware such as Oracle SOA Suite
Collaborate with technical, functional, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless application integration
Ensure solution performance, scalability, and high availability through proper architecture and tuning strategies
Provide guidance on performance optimization, capacity planning, and system reliability
Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization activities
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, and Projects modules
Solid understanding of enterprise business processes across multiple domains
Proven experience in solution architecture and system design
Strong technical knowledge of OAF, Oracle Forms, and PL/SQL
Experience with Oracle SOA Suite, APIs, and Web Services
Expertise in performance tuning, scalability planning, and high availability architectures
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
