Role Overview
We are seeking
an Enterprise Storage
& Backup Administrator with deep hands-on expertise across HPE Primera, NetApp ONTAP, Pure
Storage FlashArray, and Hitachi VSP/VSP enterprise arrays.
The role requires strong ownership of SAN/NAS
administration, storage virtualization, replication, migrations, DR drills,
performance tuning, network switch troubleshooting, vendor coordination,
upgrades, and proactive incident resolution.
Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills
Enterprise Storage Platforms
- HPE Primera
- NetApp ONTAP / ONTAP
- Pure Storage FlashArray / FlashArray
- Hitachi VSP / VSP, VSP
- Strong experience working on mid-range and high-end enterprise storage arrays
- Knowledge of space allocation, de-allocation, host integration, and virtualization
Protocols & Connectivity
- SAN/NAS protocols: FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/CIFS
- NAS administration via NFS/CIFS protocols
- HNAS/HNAS replication, failover, and failback expertise
- Support for HNAS replication and failback activities
Network & Switching
- Strong administration and troubleshooting of Cisco switches
- Expertise troubleshooting Cisco storage network switches
- Hands-on debugging of Cisco switches for storage connectivity issues
- Working knowledge of Cisco switches for storage infrastructure
- Cisco switches debugging and administration
Migration & Replication
- Host-based storage migration using TrueCopy (TC) / TSM
- HUR implementation and lifecycle management
- Local and remote replications: ShadowImage, TrueCopy, HUR
- CCI/CCI servers administration, HORCM scripts and replication workflows
- Experience managing HORCM for replication workflows
- DR drill execution on block + NAS arrays
- DR drills, DR drills, DR drills
