10+ years overall IT experience
6–10+ years in a Lead/Technical Lead role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Spring Boot Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of high-performance, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Java-based microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end technologies, while providing technical leadership and driving best practices across the development team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and delivery of Java 1.8 / Spring Boot microservices.
Design and implement RESTful APIs for high-traffic, public-facing applications.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and guidance to development team members.
Analyze existing applications, identify performance or quality issues, and implement improvements.
Drive resolution of complex technical issues and production defects.
Build high-performing, scalable, and defect-free services.
Develop and maintain unit tests, ensuring high code coverage and quality standards.
Design and build batch jobs and services using Java, SQL, and scripting.
Collaborate closely with front-end developers to deliver complete, end-to-end systems.
Manage and maintain source code using Git and follow CI/CD best practices.
Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and modern design patterns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of overall software development experience.
6–10+ years of experience in a Lead or Senior Technical Lead role.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 1.8 and Spring Boot Microservices.
Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful services and APIs.
Strong understanding of object-oriented and procedural programming patterns.
Habit of writing unit tests with strong code coverage.
Experience debugging complex systems efficiently.
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, messaging, and data integration.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
Experience working on high-traffic, public-facing web applications.
Proficiency with Git for source code management.
