Role: SME Architect – Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC)
Location: Schaumburg IL

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced SME Architect with deep expertise in Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC) to lead solutioning and architecture for enterprise-scale subscription management platforms. The role requires strong client-facing leadership, hands-on architecture and configuration experience, and a deep understanding of end-to-end subscription lifecycle management.

This position will act as the primary subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on best-in-class subscription business models and optimizing the use of the Oracle Cloud platform.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solutioning and architecture of Subscription Management IT products using Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC).
• Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDDs) and solution blueprints.
• Architect and configure OSMC to meet client-specific requirements while ensuring Oracle Cloud best practices.
• Design scalable and flexible subscription solutions covering the entire subscription lifecycle.
• Provide deep functional and technical expertise across:
• Product Catalogs and Services
• Pricing and Rating Models
• Billing and Invoicing
• Renewals and Cancellations
• Revenue Recognition
• Advise clients on best-in-class subscription business models and operational optimization using Oracle Cloud.
• Act as the primary point of contact and SME for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead client workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Present solution designs, recommendations, and complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to business and technical stakeholders.
• Support onsite activities during workshops, SIT, UAT, and Go-Live phases.
• Provide architectural guidance during configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
• Ensure solution alignment with business goals, quality standards, and subscription best practices.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and testing teams to ensure successful delivery.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in solutioning and architecting Subscription Management IT products.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Oracle Subscription Management Cloud (OSMC).
• In-depth understanding of subscription lifecycle management, including:
• Product Catalogs and Services
• Pricing and Rating Models
• Billing and Invoicing
• Renewals and Cancellations
• Revenue Recognition
• Strong experience translating business requirements into functional and solution designs.
• Ability to architect and configure Oracle Cloud solutions aligned with best practices.
