Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Payments Platforms with strong expertise in ACI Worldwide MTS ESF and Fircosoft Sanctions Screening solutions. The role focuses on sanctions screening system implementation, migration, optimization, and compliance support within a financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support the implementation, configuration, and migration from ACI Worldwide MTS ESF Sanctions Screening System to Fircosoft.
- Manage sanctions list configuration, tuning, threshold setup, and system optimization to reduce false positives while maintaining compliance.
- Collaborate with compliance, IT, and business teams to define:
- Screening rules
- Thresholds
- Escalation and exception workflows
- Conduct system testing, validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for:
- New releases and patches
- Regulatory updates
- ISO 20022-related changes
- Document process flows, configurations, and change management activities to ensure audit and regulatory readiness.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to compliance and operations teams.
- Support ongoing system enhancements and production issues related to sanctions screening.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst – Payments Platforms within financial services or fintech environments.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- ACI Worldwide MTS ESF Sanctions Screening System
- Fircosoft (Trust, Continuity, or related modules)
- Strong understanding of OFAC and other global sanctions regulations.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 20022 payment message formats and their impact on sanctions screening.
- Experience with system configuration, data mapping, and integrations with core banking or payment systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively across compliance, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting regulatory audits or compliance examinations.
- Prior exposure to large-scale payment modernization or sanctions transformation programs.
