Position Overview

The Entitlements team is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role requires hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, automation, Terraform-based IaC, Spring framework–based applications, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise cloud security. The candidate must be a proactive self-starter capable of driving initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design Azure cloud solutions ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated provisioning and lifecycle management of Azure resources
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, enabling streamlined and secure code deployments
• Implement cloud security best practices:
• Identity & Access Management
• Network Security
• Data Protection
• Compliance & Risk Mitigation
• Build cloud solutions aligned with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles including:
• Monitoring & Observability
• Logging & Alerting
• Incident Management
• Disaster Recovery & Resilience
• Address security findings by applying effective remediation strategies and ensuring alignment with compliance standards
• Evaluate and design solutions with strong focus on operational requirements (availability, scalability, backups, restores, DR)
• Mentor junior engineers, establish engineering best practices, and contribute to cloud governance and standards

Must-Have Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer / Azure Engineer
• Proven experience designing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure using native services
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and IaC best practices
• Experience working with applications built on the Spring framework
• Strong knowledge of:
• Azure Networking
• Azure Compute (AKS, App Services, Functions)
• Security & IAM (Azure AD, Conditional Access, RBAC)
• Observability tools (App Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as:
• GitHub Actions
• Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Jenkins
• Ability to handle ambiguity, adopt new technologies quickly, and lead cloud initiatives independently
