Location: Las Vegas NV

 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, hands-on architecture experience, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and build the technology vision and solution strategy for assigned business domains or solutions
• Perform end-to-end solution architecture activities including:
• Solution analysis
• High-level and detailed design
• Domain decomposition
• Planning and implementation oversight
• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between IT and business stakeholders for the solution
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to design solutions aligned with business capabilities
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Architects to shape product roadmaps and deliver new features
• Translate business requirements into clear technical designs, epics, and user stories for development teams
• Lead development teams during solution implementation and provide architectural guidance
• Present complex technical proposals and architectures to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies, tools, and approaches
• Work across multiple projects and coordinate with diverse teams
• Promote solution reuse and inner sourcing opportunities
• Identify and assess emerging technology trends and drive their adoption within the organization
• Ensure architecture solutions align with company standards, values, and long-term strategy

 

Required Skills & Experience:

·        6–8+ years of hands-on Solution Architecture experience

·        Strong experience creating:

·        Solution architecture documents

·        High-level design (HLD) documents

·        Domain-based solution decomposition

·        API design specifications

·        Proven experience in microservices architecture, including REST-based APIs

·        Deep understanding of software design principles and major architecture patterns

·        Strong experience working in Agile / Lean delivery models

·        Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services

·        Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

·        Experience with containerization and orchestration tools:

·        Docker

·        Kubernetes

·        RedHat OpenShift

·        Strong proficiency in Java and Java frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot

·        Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including:

·        SQL Server

·        PostgreSQL

·        MySQL

·        Redis

·        MongoDB

·        Strong understanding of procedural and object-oriented programming concepts
