Role & Responsibilities
- Work as a hands-on Linux and DevOps automation expert, owning system engineering, scripting, and container deployments.
- Build, deploy, secure, and optimize Docker containers in production environments.
- Support Linux OS automation and system engineering across RHEL, Ubuntu, or CentOS.
- Contribute to DevOps lifecycle using GitHub Enterprise, managing code pipelines and automation workflows.
- Implement configuration management and automation using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Participate in IoT lifecycle activities, including device provisioning, commissioning, and remote device management.
- Deploy and manage workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, primarily on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Work with Azure IoT services including IoT Hub, IoT SDK, and IoT Edge for scalable edge device integration.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to design and implement automated, efficient, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Oversee or perform system monitoring, log analysis, and automation improvements.
- Conduct code reviews, automation reviews, and deployment validations to ensure system reliability and best practices.
- Provide proactive, independent ownership of tasks while contributing to team success through collaboration and innovation.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or Nagios
- Understanding of IoT device management platforms and edge ecosystem
