Job Title: API & Integrations Developer – Full Stack
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled API & Integrations Developer (Full Stack Software Engineer) to design and develop scalable APIs, system integrations, and event-driven services for LinkedIn’s Talent Productivity Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python and/or Node.js, modern frontend frameworks, cloud-native development on Microsoft Azure, and integration-driven architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and integration services.
Build event-driven and microservices-based architectures.
Develop backend services using Node.js (Express) or Python (FastAPI / Flask).
Implement secure API design including routing, middleware, authentication, and authorization.
Work with JSON, REST APIs, WebSockets, and messaging/event systems.
Develop responsive frontend components using React.js with state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
Integrate services with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system integrations.
Deploy and manage applications in Microsoft Azure environments.
Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews using Git.
Support performance testing and monitoring using tools such as Locust.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
Backend development experience with:
Node.js + Express OR
Python + FastAPI / Flask
Solid understanding of API design, security, routing, and middleware.
Frontend development experience using React.js.
Experience with state management tools: Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
Proficiency in REST Web Services, JSON, and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Experience working with PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred Skills
Experience with SOAP services.
Knowledge of messaging and event-driven systems.
Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Bottle or web2py.
Experience with Airflow 2 for workflow orchestration.
Exposure to performance and load testing tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
