Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cloud architecture, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and observability, along with the ability to lead technical initiatives in a cross-functional environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud infrastructure using services such as:
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Front Door
• Azure Key Vault
• API Management (APIM)
• Application Gateway
• Ensure infrastructure follows high availability, performance, and reliability (SRE principles)
• Develop, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Gradle, and Maven
• Implement automated build, test, and deployment processes supporting continuous delivery
• Provision and manage cloud resources using Terraform / Terraform Cloud
• Enforce version control, reusability, and best practices in infrastructure automation
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker
• Orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes (centralized AKS clusters)
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using:
• Dynatrace
• Azure Monitor
• Proactively troubleshoot issues, optimize system performance, and ensure system reliability
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Handle encryption, access control, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation
• Mitigate findings from SonarQube, Checkmarx, and CAST scans
• Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams across geographies
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and promote DevOps best practices
• Organize and moderate technical discussions and value-driven engineering practices

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Software Engineering
• Proven experience working on complex systems in distributed, cross-functional teams
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure
• Strong experience with:
• Terraform / Terraform Cloud
• GitHub, Azure DevOps
• Gradle, Maven
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages:
• Python
• Go
• Java
• Bash
• Experience with relational databases:
• Azure SQL
• Snowflake
• Oracle
• Experience with non-relational databases:
• Redis
• Messaging systems:
• Confluent Kafka
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers
• Experience with CI, test-driven development, and test automation tools
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Dashboards and Confluence (preferred)
