Job Title: Varicent Tech Lead
Location: Remote / Phoenix, AZ / Raleigh, NC / Dallas, TX
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Varicent Tech Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM). The ideal candidate will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Varicent solutions while collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of Varicent solutions, including Composer, Reports Studio, and Web Admin tools.
Translate complex business requirements into functional Varicent models, including data models, workflows, calculations, and reports.
Configure and manage compensation plans, quotas, crediting rules, and incentive structures within the Varicent platform.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
Build, publish, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports to provide commission insights and performance tracking.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; provide user support and participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, data flow diagrams, and solution design artifacts.
Collaborate with professional services, business, and IT teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Varicent ICM platform.
Expertise in Composer, Reports Studio, and Web Admin.
Solid understanding of sales compensation processes and incentive management.
Experience with ETL development, data integration, and reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment.
Nice to Have
Experience leading Varicent implementations or enhancements.
Prior experience working in enterprise-scale compensation systems.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI tools.
