Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with strong expertise in configuration, customization, and integration development. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to design, develop, and integrate PolicyCenter solutions that support end-to-end insurance policy lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Design and develop integration solutions between PolicyCenter and internal/external systems.
- Implement business rules, product models, workflows, and UI configurations within PolicyCenter.
- Develop and support Guidewire Gosu-based configurations and enhancements.
- Design and implement SOAP/REST web services for system integrations.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support end-to-end policy lifecycle processes, including quote, bind, issue, endorsement, renewal, and cancellation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
- Provide support during UAT and production deployments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation in line with project standards.
- Work collaboratively with QA, integration, and infrastructure teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and development.
- Proven experience in PolicyCenter product model configuration.
- Strong experience in integration development using Guidewire Integration Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Gosu programming.
- Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
- Experience with Guidewire Studio and PolicyCenter configuration tools.
- Knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, and messaging frameworks.
- Experience with batch processes and messaging events.
- Understanding of Guidewire data model and PolicyCenter architecture.
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
- Experience working on policy administration systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
