Title: SAP EWM Consultant
Location: Remote
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in implementation, rollout, and support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions. The role requires deep functional knowledge of warehouse processes, strong integration experience with MM, SD, and PP, and the ability to independently analyze complex business requirements and deliver scalable system solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users throughout the project lifecycle, including hypercare support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support SAP EWM implementation, rollout, and post-go-live support activities.
- Design, configure, and customize SAP EWM modules to meet business and operational requirements.
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business processes and translate them into effective SAP EWM solutions.
- Configure and manage SAP EWM organizational elements, master data, and structural components.
- Support end-to-end warehouse processes including:
- Planning to Procurement
- Schedule to Deliver
- Goods Receipt and Goods Issue
- Physical Inventory Processing
- Production Supply
- Replenishment Processing
- Cross-Docking
- Deliveries with Waves
- Configure and optimize Warehouse Monitor, RF Framework, Process-Oriented and Layout-Oriented Storage Control.
- Implement and manage Slotting and Rearrangement strategies.
- Identify gaps, issues, and workarounds; recommend and implement system improvements.
- Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams by preparing Functional Specifications (FS) for custom developments.
- Handle RICEF objects, including custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and custom transactions.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Conduct end-user training and provide support during the Hypercare phase.
- Interact directly with customers to gather requirements, provide solutions, and support implementations.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with SAP best practices and client objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in SAP EWM implementation, rollout, and support.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration and customization.
- Expertise in EWM integration with SAP MM, SD, and PP modules.
- In-depth knowledge of:
- EWM organizational and master data
- Warehouse Monitor and RF Framework
- Goods Receipt / Goods Issue processes
- Physical Inventory Processing
- Storage Control (Process-Oriented & Layout-Oriented)
- Production Supply
- Replenishment and Cross-Docking
- Slotting and Rearrangement
- Strong understanding of planning to procurement and schedule to deliver processes
