Position Overview

The Network Tower SME will provide architectural leadership and stabilization expertise within the IS-LSHC-HC 2.2 vertical. This role focuses on modernizing, optimizing, and supporting the customer’s enterprise network infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on technical experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to drive network modernization initiatives in large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities

·         Architecture & Stabilization: Lead design and stabilization of enterprise network infrastructure; identify gaps and implement scalable solutions.

·         Managed Services Oversight: Support 24x7 network operations ensuring 99.99% uptime and adherence to disaster recovery targets (RPO: 30 min, RTO: 48 hrs).

·         Performance & Cost Optimization: Streamline software and circuit expenditures while enhancing SLA performance and reducing administrative overhead.

·         Security & Compliance: Enforce network security protocols and ensure compliance with DISA, CIS, and other industry standards.

·         Documentation & Governance: Maintain comprehensive network documentation and oversee governance across hardware, software, and vendor contracts.

·         Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to align network strategy with broader business objectives.

Technical Skills & Expertise

Must-Have:

·         Extensive hands-on expertise in network technologies: Cisco, Zscaler, CheckPoint, F5, etc.

·         Strong command of network protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP.

·         Experience with network monitoring, logging, and failure notification systems.

·         Proficiency in managing wireless infrastructure (WAPs, AV livestream devices, Crestron units).

·         Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have:

·         Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).

·         Experience with data center migration and hybrid network environments.

·         Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA, or Fortinet NSE.
