Senior JDE Technical Consultant / SME
Location: Remote (10% client travel; expenses reimbursed)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior JDE Technical Consultant with strong expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World. The ideal candidate will act as a technical SME, supporting application development, integrations, reporting, and system enhancements across manufacturing, supply chain, and payroll domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical SME for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World environments.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy JDE technical solutions and custom applications.
- Develop and maintain BI Publisher reports and Web Business Services (WBS).
- Perform coding and enhancements using RPG/RPGLE.
- Support and enhance JDE modules including Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Payroll.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Support integrations and data flows between JDE and external systems.
- Participate in upgrades, performance tuning, and system optimization initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World.
- Expertise in JDE technical development, including custom applications and enhancements.
- Proficiency in RPG / RPGLE programming.
- Experience with BI Publisher report development.
- Experience developing and supporting Web Business Services (WBS).
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Payroll modules.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Oracle Cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) (huge plus).
- Prior experience integrating JDE with cloud or third-party platforms.
- Exposure to enterprise reporting, ETL, and data integration solutions.
Work Environment & Travel
- Remote role with approximately 10% client travel.
- Travel expenses will be fully reimbursed.
