Title: SAP Callidus Technical Lead
Location: Charlotte, NC or Syracuse, NY

Rate: $50/hour
Work Authorization: GC / U.S. Citizens Only

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Callidus Technical Lead / Senior Application Support Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Callidus configuration and development. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading the design, development, support, and optimization of mission-critical incentive compensation systems.

This role requires a blend of technical leadership, deep functional knowledge of incentive compensation, and the ability to work independently while mentoring team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex compensation plans and rules within SAP Callidus
• Customize SAP Callidus configurations to support evolving business requirements
• Ensure platform stability, scalability, and optimal system performance
• Troubleshoot and proactively prevent production issues
• Manage data integrations between SAP Callidus and landing pad databases
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL ETL processes for large-scale data ingestion and reporting
• Consume and expose API-based integrations to ensure seamless system interoperability
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and error handling processes
• Develop and maintain UNIX / Shell scripts to automate recurring operational and support tasks
• Improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention through automation
• Manage end-to-end Agent Lifecycle Management, including:
• Version control
• Hierarchy management
• Database synchronization processes
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
• Integrate SAP organizational hierarchy data into Callidus workflows
• Perform workflow updates aligned with organizational and business changes
• Ensure consistency between organizational structures and compensation logic
• Design, develop, and maintain Crystal Reports for operational and analytical reporting
• Support reporting needs for Finance, Sales, and Operations teams
• Ensure data accuracy and performance of reporting solutions
• Act as the SAP Callidus Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Provide advanced application support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and support staff
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors
• Lead technical decisions and contribute to platform enhancements

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Callidus (configuration and development)
• Expertise in:
• Oracle PL/SQL
• UNIX / Shell Scripting
• SAP HANA
• Agent Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Experience with API-based system integrations
• Strong understanding of Incentive Compensation Management systems
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
