Job Title: Asset Management Audit Consultant – Prime Funds
Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Summary
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a highly experienced Asset Management Audit Consultant – Prime Funds to support a leading global banking client in New York City. This role will lead end-to-end audits across Asset Management Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and Compliance functions, with a strong focus on Global Prime and Money Market Funds.
The ideal candidate will bring deep regulatory knowledge, strong audit leadership, and proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders to drive high-impact, global audit initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Execution (40%)
Lead comprehensive audits of Global Prime Funds operations, including:
Portfolio Management
Trading
Fund Administration
Operations and Compliance
Plan and execute audit engagements across US, EMEA, and APAC regions
Identify and assess key risks including liquidity, credit, operational, and regulatory risks
Perform audit testing aligned with SOC 1/2, ISAE 3402, SEC Rule 2a-7, and MMFR
Document audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and present results to senior management
Manage and deliver 4–6 major audits annually
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight (30%)
Ensure compliance with:
Investment Company Act
SEC Rule 2a-7
FINRA regulations
Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on audit scope and methodology
Evaluate compliance programs related to:
NAV calculations
Shadow pricing
Liquidity and stress testing
Support regulatory examinations by SEC, FINRA, FCA, and MAS
Review regulatory filings including Form N-MFP, Form PF, and related disclosures
Consulting & Advisory Services (20%)
Provide strategic advisory support on control design, process improvements, and risk mitigation
Advise business and technology teams on new products, system changes, and operational transformations
Stakeholder Management & Leadership (10%)
Partner with Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams
Present audit results and risk insights to C-suite executives and Board-level committees
Required Qualifications
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
One or more required certifications:
CPA
CIA
CISA
CFA
Professional Experience
8+ years of audit experience within Asset Management
Minimum 3+ years focused on Money Market Funds / Prime Funds
3+ years at Big 4, internal audit, or consulting at Senior or Manager level
Demonstrated experience leading complex, global audit engagements
Proven experience managing senior and executive-level stakeholders
