Title: Mainframe Developer – DB2 / CICS
Location: Columbus, OH

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in DB2 application development and CICS administration to support and enhance enterprise-level mainframe applications. This role involves hands-on development, administration, and production support in a 100% onsite customer environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using DB2
• Perform DB2 application development and administration activities
• Support and administer CICS transaction processing environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and system issues
• Collaborate with AMS and IT teams to support production and non-production environments
• Participate in application enhancements, maintenance, and support activities
• Ensure system stability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards and policies
• Provide support for incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience as a Mainframe Developer
• Strong experience in:
• Mainframe DB2 – Application Development
• Mainframe DB2 Administration (AMS support)
• Mainframe CICS Administration
• Hands-on experience with CICS transaction processing
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a 100% onsite customer environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
