Title: SAP S/4HANA SD Functional Consultant

Location: Remote

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD (Order to Cash) Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Sales & Distribution and strong integration knowledge across Finance (FI), Supply Chain, and external systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on configuration experience, strong functional specification skills, exposure to ABAP objects, and the ability to lead end-to-end OTC processes in complex, integrated SAP landscapes.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Configure SAP S/4HANA SD modules including Customer Master, Material Master, Condition Master Data, and Enterprise Structure definition and assignments.
• Implement and support end-to-end Order to Cash (OTC) processes including:
• Order Management, Delivery, Shipping, Billing
• Intercompany Sales and Stock Transfer Orders (STO)
• Third-Party Sales, Drop Ship, Consignment, Cross-Selling, Rush Orders, Returns
• Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Rebate Processing
• Configure Output Determination, Partner Determination, Text Determination, Material Determination, and Credit Management.
• Design and configure Pricing Procedures using condition techniques including:
• Condition Tables, Access Sequences, and Condition Types
• Configure Billing and Invoicing processes including:
• Billing Types, Billing Plans
• Credit/Debit Memos
• Proforma, Advance Billing, Self-Billing
• Milestone and Periodic Billing
• Invoice Number Ranges and Billing Blocks
• Implement Condition Contract Management (Rebates & Commissions).
• Logistics Execution & Variant Configuration
• Configure and support Logistics Execution (LE) processes:
• Outbound Deliveries, Picking, Packing, and Post Goods Issue (PGI)
• Characteristics, Dependencies, Variant Pricing
• Integration, Interfaces & ABAP Collaboration
• Work closely with ABAP developers to design functional specifications for:
• RICEFW objects, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows
• BDCs and BAPIs
• Support Smart Forms debugging, ABAP dump analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Design and support Inbound/Outbound Interfaces using:
• IDOCs, EDI, ALE
• Integration with non-SAP systems (Vertex, Dview, Web Portals, etc.)
• Collaborate with middleware teams including EDI, ETL, BPM, ISOTRAC, MFT, IIB, DataPower, APIGEE, Distrack to ensure accurate data translation into SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
• Finance (FI) Integration Knowledge
• Strong understanding of SD–FI integration including:
• Account Determination (VKOA)
• Customer Line Items and Reconciliation
• Down Payments and Clearing (FBL5N, FAGLL03H, F-29, F-28, FB05)
• Knowledge of S/4HANA Finance tables (ACDOCA, BSEG)
• Support troubleshooting of billing and accounting postings.
• Testing, Change & Data Management
• Unit Testing, Functional Testing
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Plans, Test Scripts, Change Plans
• Use testing tools such as PANAYA, HP ALM / HP QC, HP Service Manager.
• Conduct Data Migration workshops
• Support data validation and reconciliation.
