Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architectures on the Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and technologies, and will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure data services.
Build scalable and high-performance data solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Snowflake.
Process and manage batch and real-time data workloads.
Develop and maintain data models and schemas in relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres and MongoDB.
Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using Python and SQL.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.
Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across all data engineering initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in coordination with cloud and platform teams.
Document data architectures, workflows, and operational processes for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience as an Azure Data Engineer.
Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Snowflake.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and transformation.
Experience with Postgres and MongoDB (relational and NoSQL databases).
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline design.
Experience with Azure data services (ADF, ADLS, Synapse – preferred).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
