Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Seismic LiveDocs Senior Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced LiveDocs solutions within the Seismic platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in LiveDocs logic, integrations, and template architecture, enabling highly automated, scalable, and personalized content generation that drives sales effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Lead the design and architecture of complex LiveDocs templates ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Translate complex business requirements (pricing models, legal clauses, product configurations, dynamic narratives) into robust LiveDocs logic and data structures.
Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and governance policies for LiveDocs development.
LiveDocs Development & Implementation
Develop, configure, and optimize advanced LiveDocs templates using Seismic proprietary syntax, scripting, and data binding.
Implement complex conditional logic, loops, calculations, and transformations to generate personalized content at scale.
Manage version control, testing, and deployments across environments.
Ensure high-quality, compliant, and accurate document generation.
Integrations
Integrate LiveDocs with external systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, CPQ, ERP, and internal databases.
Utilize Seismic APIs, Data Connectors, and Salesforce integrations for data synchronization.
Support REST/SOAP-based integrations as needed.
Optimization & Performance
Identify and implement improvements to enhance performance, efficiency, and user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex LiveDocs generation, data integration, and user-facing issues.
Perform performance tuning to ensure fast and reliable document generation.
Collaboration, Mentorship & Documentation
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Mentor junior developers and content creators on LiveDocs best practices and advanced features.
Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
Strategic Contributions
Stay current with Seismic platform enhancements and LiveDocs innovations.
Provide strategic recommendations to maximize sales enablement and content automation through Seismic.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior Seismic LiveDocs Developer.
Proven experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale LiveDocs solutions.
Strong experience with advanced LiveDocs logic, including nested loops, dynamic tables, calculations, and conditional formatting.
Experience integrating Seismic with CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics) and CPQ platforms (Salesforce CPQ, SAP CPQ).
Technical Skills
Deep expertise in Seismic LiveDocs syntax and functionality.
Strong data modeling and data transformation skills.
Experience working with SQL, APIs, flat files, and multiple data sources.
Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
Salesforce experience (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL) is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
