Job Summary:

We are seeking a Windchill Change Management Specialist with strong hands-on experience in managing product change lifecycles within PTC Windchill. The ideal candidate will have expertise in change objects, workflows, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration, along with experience leveraging GenAI for data analysis, automation, and intelligent information retrieval to improve change management efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product changes ensuring they are properly assessed, reviewed, approved, and implemented.
• Create, modify, and maintain change objects (ECR, ECO, ECN) to track changes and associated data such as design documents, BOMs, and change orders.
• Establish, configure, and maintain Windchill change management workflows to ensure appropriate evaluation, approvals, and governance.
• Oversee and coordinate all tasks related to change implementation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to defined timelines.
• Track and monitor the progress of changes, identify bottlenecks, and report risks, issues, and status to stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all changes, approvals, and impact assessments to support audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on products, systems, manufacturing, and compliance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, compliance, and business teams to ensure smooth execution of change processes.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve issues that arise during the change management lifecycle.

 

GenAI & Automation Responsibilities:

• Utilize GenAI capabilities within or integrated with Windchill to analyze historical and real-time change data.
• Apply GenAI for intelligent information retrieval, summarization, and insights generation related to change records and documentation.
• Automate routine tasks within the change request and approval process to reduce manual effort and minimize errors.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy using AI-driven automation.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Windchill Change Management.
• Expertise in managing change objects, workflows, BOMs, and design data.
• Experience working with GenAI solutions for data analysis, summarization, or automation.
• Proven ability to automate workflows and streamline approval processes.
• Solid understanding of change impact analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders across departments.
