Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Informatica PowerCenter Administrator / Platform Engineer to manage, support, and optimize large-scale Informatica PowerCenter and Data Quality platforms across on-prem and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with installation, configuration, monitoring, automation, and troubleshooting, along with exposure to modern integration and messaging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Operations

·       Perform engineering tasks related to installation, configuration, monitoring, testing, migration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Informatica PowerCenter and Data Quality platforms.

·       Support large-scale, enterprise Informatica environments across distributed operating systems.

·       Independently troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues.

·       Resolve alerts and perform remediation activities.

·       Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule.

Infrastructure & Automation

·       Install and configure platforms on-prem and/or on AWS cloud environments.

·       Work across distributed OS platforms such as RedHat Linux and Amazon Linux.

·       Implement standardized and automated deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

·       Utilize infrastructure provisioning and automation tools such as:

o   Chef

o   Ansible

o   Terraform

o   Vagrant

o   Test Kitchen

Reliability, Security & Performance

·       Apply industry best practices for:

o   Backup and recovery

o   Clustering and high availability

o   Security and patch management

o   Enterprise monitoring

o   Performance tuning

·       Ensure platform integrity, stability, and recoverability.

---

Integration & Messaging (Plus)

·       Exposure to or experience with any of the following is a strong plus:

o   IBM MQ / IBM ACE

o   AWS Glue

o   Kafka

o   RabbitMQ

o   AWS SQS / SNS

o   AWS MSK

o   Amazon MQ (ActiveMQ / RabbitMQ)

Required Skills & Qualifications

·       7+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter Administration.

·       Strong experience with Informatica Data Quality.

·       Experience supporting enterprise-scale ETL platforms.

·       Hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems.

·       Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to work independently in a production support environment.
