We are seeking an experienced Guidewire / Earnix Rating Lead with strong expertise in rating engines within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of rating mechanisms, working closely with business and technical teams to deliver accurate, scalable, and compliant pricing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Rating Design & Implementation
Design, configure, and implement rating and product model changes within the PNC domain.
Develop and maintain rate books, rate tables, and rate routines using rating mechanisms.
Ensure rating configurations support business pricing strategies and regulatory requirements.
Business & Technical Collaboration
Work closely with business analysts and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on rating framework design and implementation.
System Integration
Integrate the rating engine with internal systems such as billing, claims, and external rating services.
Implement integrations using SOAP/REST APIs and messaging protocols.
Testing, Documentation & Governance
Perform unit and regression testing for rating configurations.
Document rating logic, configurations, and maintain change history.
Ensure all configurations adhere to PNC best practices and version upgrade standards.
DevOps & Best Practices
Use version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools to support streamlined development and deployment.
Ensure performance, scalability, and accuracy of rating solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire/Earnix Rating Engines.
Proven expertise in rating mechanisms within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
In-depth knowledge of rating frameworks and integration frameworks.
Experience integrating enterprise systems using SOAP/REST APIs.
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
