Position: Senior Developer (Python & UI)

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Exp: 10+years

 

Visa: H1 B

 

JD:-highly skilled Senior Developer with expertise in both backend (Python) and frontend (UI) technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable applications, implementing best practices in software design, and delivering high-quality user interfaces.

 

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, FastAPI, and SQL Alchemy ORM.

Implement Domain Driven Development (DDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.

Write and maintain automated tests using Pytest and Vitest.

Manage database migrations with Alembic and work extensively with MySQL using ORM (not just raw scripts).

Develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using React, Vite, and Playwright.

Collaborate with designers and product managers; a good eye for design and experience with Figma is a plus.

Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.

Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems and workflows.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

Backend (Python):-

Strong proficiency in Python

Experience with FastAPI, Pytest, Pydantic, SQL Alchemy (ORM), Alembic

Solid understanding of Domain Driven Development (DDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD)

Hands-on experience with MySQL, specifically using ORM

 

Frontend (UI):

Proficient in React, Vite, Vitest, Playwright

Strong sense of design and user experience; familiarity with Figma is a plus

 

General:-

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in agile development environments

Prior experience mentoring junior developers

Contributions to open-source projects
