Job Description – Angular Lead with Microservices
Location: Richardson, TX / Buffalo Grove, IL
Experience Required: 8–10 Years
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Angular Micro Frontend Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, enterprise-grade micro frontend applications. The ideal candidate will provide strong technical leadership, drive frontend architecture decisions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable Angular-based micro frontend applications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Define and enforce frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Drive hands-on implementation of micro frontend architectures, including shared libraries and independently deployable applications.
Collaborate with backend, DevOps, UX, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Provide technical leadership by influencing architectural and design decisions across teams.
Mentor and guide frontend developers through code reviews, technical coaching, and architectural decision-making.
Manage priorities, timelines, and risks within Agile/Scrum environments.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders by translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Provide performance feedback and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Frontend & Architecture
Strong expertise in Angular (v10+), including component architecture, RxJS, state management (NgRx), and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with Micro Frontend architecture using Module Federation, Single-SPA, or similar frameworks.
Proven experience delivering micro frontend solutions with shared libraries and independent deployments.
Web Technologies
Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles.
Experience integrating frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
Knowledge of authentication mechanisms and frontend security best practices.
Cloud & DevOps
Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with frontend CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Leadership & Experience
8–12 years of overall IT experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on Angular development with leadership responsibilities.
Proven experience leading large-scale frontend initiatives in enterprise or distributed environments.
Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to guide architecture, influence design decisions, and mentor teams.
