Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Windchill Developer to support a large-scale PLM transformation initiative in the medical technology domain. This role involves hands-on development, configuration, and integration of PTC Windchill, with a strong focus on scalable, compliant, and fit-to-standard PLM solutions within regulated environments.


Key Responsibilities:

Windchill Development & Configuration

  • Lead hands-on development and configuration of PTC Windchill solutions
  • Design and implement customizations using:
    • Java, JSP, JavaScript, REST APIs
  • Extend Windchill capabilities while minimizing custom code

PLM Functional Implementation

  • Implement and support core PLM modules:
    • Item / Part Management (EBOM)
    • Document Management (CAD & non-CAD)
    • Change Management (CR, CN, PR)
    • UDI-related capabilities
  • Manage part taxonomy, classification, attributes, and search

Integration & Architecture

  • Integrate Windchill with enterprise systems:
    • ERP (SAP / Oracle)
    • CAD tools (Creo, MCAD/ECAD)
  • Develop integrations using:
    • Windchill REST services & OSLC frameworks

Quality, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with regulated product development standards
  • Support:
    • UDI requirements & product traceability
    • Design History File (DHF)
    • Audit readiness & data governance
  • Maintain data integrity, security, and access control

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with architects, functional teams, and business stakeholders
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices and standards
  • Contribute to technical documentation and governance frameworks

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6–10+ years of experience with PTC Windchill
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Windchill data model, lifecycle, workflows, and access control
  • Experience with:
    • Item / BOM Management (EBOM)
    • Document & Change Management
    • Classification and search frameworks
  • Strong programming skills in:
    • Java, JSP, JavaScript
  • Experience with:
    • Windchill APIs & REST services
    • ERP and CAD integrations
  • Experience in regulated environments (medical tech / life sciences preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with:
    • Product Configuration / Variant Management
    • MBOM / Software BOM concepts
    • Advanced Windchill modules (quality/regulatory)

Key Responsibilities:

PowerOn Development & Support

  • Design, develop, and maintain PowerOn scripts and programs within the Symitar Episys platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
