Job Summary
We are seeking a strong Java Integration Developer with deep expertise in Core Java, Spring Framework, Messaging technologies, and Apache Camel. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade, integration-heavy applications using Apache Camel and Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP). This role requires hands-on development skills, strong debugging capabilities, and experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Must-Have Core Competencies
Strong expertise in Core Java with solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
Extensive experience with the Spring Ecosystem, including:
Spring Boot
Spring MVC
Spring Data
Spring Security
Hands-on experience with Messaging and Integration technologies, such as:
JMS
Kafka
RabbitMQ
Proven experience implementing Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP)
Strong hands-on experience with Apache Camel, including:
Designing and developing Camel routes
Building integration pipelines and message flows
Integrating multiple systems and data sources
Key Responsibilities
Own the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support of mission-critical applications
Design, implement, and maintain Apache Camel routes for complex system integrations
Perform advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis (RCA) to ensure high application reliability and performance
Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and external systems to extend application capabilities
Collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, architects, and business stakeholders to manage dependencies, communicate progress, and address scope changes
Ensure strict adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and architectural best practices
Participate in all project phases, including:
Architecture and design discussions
Design and peer code reviews
Development of unit, integration, and system test cases
Execution of test cycles and defect resolution
Deployment and release management
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in Java-based application development
Strong experience with Spring-based enterprise applications
Hands-on experience with Apache Camel (mandatory)
Solid understanding of asynchronous messaging and integration architectures
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills
