Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Platform Engineer with GCP experience to design, build, and operate LLM-powered agentic platforms and scalable AI/ML infrastructure on Google Cloud. The role focuses on autonomous AI agents, GenAI workflows, ML model deployment, cloud-native engineering, and platform automation, working closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI-driven solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize LLM-based autonomous agents for reasoning, planning, and task execution.
• Develop agentic AI solutions to automate end-to-end business workflows.
• Implement multi-agent orchestration frameworks and agent collaboration patterns.
• Apply advanced reasoning techniques such as Chain-of-Thought, Tree-of-Thought, and Retrieval-Augmented Planning (RAP).
• Build AI services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.
• Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, LLaMA, Mistral, etc.) into production-grade systems.
• Implement RAG pipelines, embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate).
• Develop and deploy machine learning models using supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to design scalable ML and AI architectures.
• Work with Vertex AI for model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Use workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect for ML/AI pipelines.
• Perform ongoing model maintenance, optimization, and monitoring.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
• Build and maintain platform services using:
• Compute Engine
• GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
• Cloud Run / Cloud Functions
• BigQuery / Cloud Storage
• Cloud SQL / Spanner
• Architect and manage VPC networking, including DNS, NAT, and Load Balancing.
• Implement enterprise-grade security controls using IAM, KMS, service identities, and secret management.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Automate provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Apply SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, observability, alerting, and auto-scaling.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of AI platforms.
• Implement enterprise AI guardrails and Responsible AI practices.
• Ensure compliance, explain ability, security, and ethical use of AI systems.
• Participate in governance reviews and platform standardization initiatives.

 

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience designing and deploying LLM-based agentic solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services, especially:
• GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run
• BigQuery, Cloud Storage
• VPC networking
• Expertise in Terraform / IaC and CI/CD tooling.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and SRE concepts.
• Experience with Vertex AI and ML lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with PySpark, Snowflake, and large-scale data processing.
• Exposure to AWS cloud environments.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jupyter, and collaborative ML platforms.
• ML or Cloud certifications (GCP ML, Professional ML Engineer, etc.).
• Experience supporting production AI platforms and maintenance activities.
