Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure supporting business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on AWS expertise, automation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an onsite environment.

This role requires immediate availability, and fresh AWS Cloud Engineer submissions are needed urgently.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise and business-critical applications.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Configure, manage, and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of cloud-based systems.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Trusted Advisor.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, and/or EKS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Apply AWS security best practices, including IAM policies, KMS, and Secrets Manager.
• Collaborate with application development teams to design and deploy cloud-native solutions.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Perform performance testing, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization.
• Document cloud architectures, configurations, operational procedures, and best practices.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services:
• EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda
• VPC, IAM, Route 53
• ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, CloudTrail
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration using ECS or EKS.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups, NACLs).
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
