Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant with 15+ years of experience and a strong consulting background, preferably from Big 4 firms, to lead and support enterprise-scale financial system implementations. The role focuses on Oracle Financials Cloud aligned with Wholesale Distribution operations, integrating financial processes across supply chain, inventory, and logistics environments.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Financials – Functional Leadership
Lead end-to-end implementations and upgrades of Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud modules:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets (FA)
Cash Management (CM)
Tax and Expenses
Configure financial setups including:
Chart of Accounts
Approval workflows
Payment terms
Accounting rules
Drive automation and efficiency in invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and inventory valuation
Ensure alignment with GAAP, SOX, and internal audit requirements
Wholesale Distribution Focus
Align Oracle Financials with wholesale distribution operations, including:
Inventory valuation
Landed cost
Rebates and vendor funding
Margin and profitability analysis
Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless financial integration across:
Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Support reporting for distribution-specific KPIs such as:
Gross margin by SKU
Freight allocation
Vendor rebates and funding
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery
Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable and sustainable financial solutions
Facilitate workshops, design sessions, UAT, and end-user training
Maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, test scripts, and change management artifacts
Support post-implementation stabilization and continuous improvements
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of experience with a strong consulting background
Prior experience with Big 4 consulting firms in Oracle Financials Cloud implementations
Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud
Strong understanding of Wholesale Distribution financial processes
Experience integrating Oracle Financials with SAP ERP Logistics Execution (LE) (Inbound & Outbound)
Familiarity with third-party financial tools such as:
HighRadius
BlackLine
TM1
Concur
Kyriba
Vertex
Excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, and documentation skills
