Key Responsibilities:

Network Operations & Maintenance

• Maintain and support network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and multi-user applications.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve connectivity, hardware, and software issues.
• Use network monitoring tools to track, analyze, and optimize network health and availability.

Network Security

• Implement and manage security controls including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and security protocols.
• Ensure protection against unauthorized access and security threats.
• Support and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for network infrastructure.

Configuration & Automation

• Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Apply scripting using PowerShell or Python to automate routine network tasks and improve efficiency.
• Ensure network configurations comply with organizational standards and best practices.

Documentation & Support

• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical support to end users and resolve escalated network issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet business and operational objectives.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus devices and FortiGate firewalls.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Experience configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and network security protocols.
• Scripting experience using PowerShell or Python.
• Experience implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery plans.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external clients and handle escalations effectively.
• High level of commitment to meeting business objectives.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
