Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network architecture, security, and performance optimization, and will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the organization's IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
Maintain and administer enterprise networks and related computing environments, including systems software, hardware, applications, and configurations.
Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control policies.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights following security best practices.
Perform regular network backups and support disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Document network architecture, issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to support operational and project requirements.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend network upgrades and improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer / Network Administrator or similar role.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, and architecture.
Hands-on experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network devices.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and routing/switching concepts.
Experience with enterprise networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent).
Familiarity with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analysis tools.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Relevant certifications preferred:
CompTIA Network+
Cisco CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
AWS Certified Advanced Networking (or equivalent)
