Job Title: Manhattan WMS Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: Nashville, TN
Experience Required: 6–8 Years (Warehouse Management)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manhattan WMS Techno-Functional Consultant to lead configuration, integration, and optimization of Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong warehouse domain knowledge with hands-on technical expertise to deliver end-to-end WMS solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Techno-Functional Expertise
Configure and support Manhattan WMS modules (Active, SCALE, or WMOS).
Prepare, review, and maintain technical specifications for customizations, integrations, and reports.
Collaborate with development teams on API, middleware, and EDI integrations.
Provide guidance on system configuration, workflow design, and integration with enterprise systems.
Support system upgrades, patches, and custom enhancements.
Solution Design & Implementation
Lead end-to-end WMS implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
Translate warehouse operational needs into effective system configurations.
Design and optimize workflows for:
Inbound and outbound operations
Inventory management
Labor management
Tune Manhattan WMS configurations for performance and scalability.
Business Process Alignment
Translate finance and operational requirements into WMS/ERP solutions.
Ensure warehouse workflows comply with SOX and local regulatory standards.
Identify process gaps and recommend optimization opportunities based on supply chain KPIs.
Stakeholder Enablement & Support
Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and optimization.
Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and gap analysis.
Train warehouse managers, finance teams, and IT staff on system usage and best practices.
Provide post-implementation support and end-user training.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6–8 years of experience in Warehouse Management Systems, with strong Manhattan WMS exposure.
Hands-on experience as a Manhattan WMS Techno-Functional Consultant.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping).
Experience with Manhattan WMS configuration and tuning.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, or scripting languages.
Experience with API, EDI, and integration frameworks for WMS data flows.
Knowledge of supply chain KPIs and process optimization.
Strong documentation skills, including process mapping and functional design.
Experience with change management and user training.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
