Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AEM Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, mentor development teams, and deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business teams to understand functional and technical requirements.
Design, develop, unit test, and integrate AEM components and applications.
Lead AEM architecture decisions and ensure best practices are followed.
Mentor and guide junior developers, building strong technical capabilities within the team.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous integration practices.
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to coding standards.
Work effectively in a multi-distributed team environment under short sprint timelines.
Prepare and maintain clear technical documentation and solution designs.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to deliver within tight deadlines.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Development and Architecture.
Deep expertise in:
CRX, JCR
Apache Sling, Apache Felix
OSGi framework
Sightly / HTL
AEM content authoring
Proficiency in Java and Web Services development.
Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Experience with Java Web Technologies and Advanced Java concepts.
Familiarity with code quality tools and best practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI practices.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Bitbucket.
Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Exposure to SaaS-based offerings.
Unit testing experience using JUnit.
Required Experience
Proven experience as an AEM Lead or Senior AEM Developer.
Ability to independently handle requirements, solution design, and development.
Experience working in fast-paced environments with short sprint cycles.
