Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud architecture, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will lead DevOps initiatives, ensure high availability and security of cloud platforms, and collaborate across distributed engineering teams using SRE principles.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure, including:

  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

  • Azure Front Door

  • API Management (APIM)

  • Application Gateway

  • Key Vault

• Ensure high availability, performance, and resiliency

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:

  • GitHub Actions

  • Gradle / Maven

• Implement test automation and CI best practices

• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / Terraform Cloud

---

Containerization & Orchestration

• Build and manage Docker containers

• Orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes (centralized AKS)

• Support container lifecycle management and scaling

---

Monitoring, Observability & Reliability

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using:

  • Dynatrace

  • Azure Monitor

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance

• Apply SRE principles for reliability and incident response

---

Security & Compliance

• Implement infrastructure and pipeline security best practices

• Manage encryption, secrets, and access controls

• Mitigate findings from Sonar, Checkmarx, and CAST scans

---

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work cross-functionally with development and DevOps teams

• Lead technical initiatives and mentor team members

• Organize and promote DevOps best practices and value-driven delivery

---

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Software Engineering

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Terraform / Terraform Cloud

  • GitHub Actions

  • Docker & Kubernetes

• Proficiency in scripting languages:

  • Python

  • Go

  • Java

  • Bash

Technical Expertise

• CI/CD tools and practices

• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers

• Databases:

  • Azure SQL

  • Snowflake

  • Oracle

  • Redis

• Messaging platforms:

  • Confluent Kafka

• Experience with test-driven development and automation

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in financial services industry

• Familiarity with:
