Title: Senior Data Analyst – Banking & Financial Services

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst with deep domain expertise in Banking and Financial Services. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Commercial Lending Systems, advanced SQL and Data Warehousing, and a solid understanding of capital markets, lending, and investment products. This role requires strong analytical capabilities to support data-driven decision-making across financial products and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced data analysis to support business decisions in banking and financial services domains.
- Analyze and interpret large datasets from commercial lending systems, including Loan IQ (mandatory).
- Work extensively with SQL and Data Warehousing technologies to extract, transform, and analyze financial data.
- Support analysis related to CLS / FIS platforms and financial transaction systems.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of annuity products (fixed, indexed, and variable).
- Provide analytical support for derivatives trading operations, including products, markets, and workflows.
- Perform portfolio analysis, capital management analysis, stock valuation, and financial forecasting.
- Analyze financial risk, returns, and exposure across asset classes.
- Support reporting, dashboards, and insights for senior stakeholders and business teams.
- Collaborate with technology, risk, trading, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and business alignment.
Mandatory / Essential Skills:
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst exclusively in Banking and Financial Services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Commercial Lending Systems, specifically Loan IQ (must-have).
- Excellent technical expertise in SQL and Data Warehousing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with CLS and/or FIS systems.
- Strong understanding of annuities – fixed, indexed, and variable.
- Proven experience in financial analysis including:
- Derivatives Trading Operations
- Capital Management
- Portfolio Analysis
- Stock Valuation
- Project Auditing
- Financial Forecasting
