Title: ServiceNow Architect – Security Operations (SecOps)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Remote)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect – Security Operations (SecOps) to design, implement, and govern enterprise SecOps solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires deep architectural expertise, strong security domain knowledge, and the ability to integrate SecOps with core ServiceNow modules and enterprise systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• ServiceNow SecOps Architecture
• Design and implement Security Operations (SecOps) solutions within the ServiceNow platform
• Define and document SecOps best practices, frameworks, and methodologies aligned with:
• ISO 27001
• NIST
• GDPR
• CIS Controls

 

Platform Integration & Governance:

• Ensure seamless integration of IRM and SecOps with:

• CMDB
• ITSM
• ITOM
• Other enterprise applications
• Establish architectural standards and governance across ServiceNow security modules

 

Data Modeling & Security:

• Provide expertise in ServiceNow data modeling, including:
• Table structures
• Relationships
• ACL configurations
• Ensure secure and scalable platform design supporting enterprise security requirements

 

Leadership & Advisory:

• Act as a technical authority and architect for ServiceNow SecOps initiatives
• Collaborate with security, IT, and business stakeholders
• Review designs and configurations to ensure architectural compliance

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall ServiceNow experience
• Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Architect
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps)
• Experience integrating SecOps with CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and IRM
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards:
• ISO 27001
• NIST
• GDPR
• CIS Controls
• Expertise in ServiceNow data modeling and ACLs
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

 

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• ServiceNow Security Operations / IRM certifications
• Experience in large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations
• Strong documentation and governance experience
