Title: QA Lead
Location:
Charlotte, NC / Minneapolis, MN /
Dallas, TX / Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Max Rate: $50/hr on C2C
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to lead onshore QA efforts and coordinate closely with offshore teams. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in test automation (Selenium, Cucumber), CI/CD integration, and proven leadership skills to drive quality across Agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Leadership
- Lead QA activities for onshore teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices
- Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and automation frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and related tools
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution
- Act as the primary point of contact between onshore and offshore QA teams
- Schedule and lead daily sync-ups with offshore teams
- Communicate requirements, priorities, and feedback clearly and timely
- Monitor offshore team performance and provide guidance, mentoring, and support
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test cases, defect reports)
- Provide regular QA status updates to stakeholders
- Track and report QA metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and automation progress
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- 2+ years of experience in a QA Lead role
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Selenium
- Cucumber
- Java or Python
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage and mentor offshore QA teams
