Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to manage and coordinate Agile Release Trains and ensure successful delivery of enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile methodologies, automated release management, and coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This role requires onsite presence from day one in Pittsburgh, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and manage Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes.
- Coordinate release planning and execution across multiple teams.
- Implement and manage automated release management processes.
- Ensure smooth delivery of releases across environments.
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments.
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams.
- Facilitate PI (Program Increment) planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Track progress and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
- Improve release processes and Agile practices.
- Communicate release status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
- Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of releases.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- Experience working as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).
- Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies.
- Experience with automated release management.
- Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams.
- Strong understanding of release and deployment processes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- SAFe certification (preferred).
- Experience with release management tools.
- Experience in large enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices.
- Experience with Agile reporting tools.
