Core Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Lead the end-to-end architecture for Salesforce Service Cloud (Case Management, Omni-Channel, Knowledge) and Experience Cloud (Portals, Communities, and Sites).
- Strategic Planning: Define technical direction and roadmaps for digital transformation, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
- Documentation: Create High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), including detailed data models, sharing rules, and architectural diagrams.
- Technical Governance: Oversee code reviews, deployment strategies (DevOps), and environment management to maintain system integrity.
- Integration: Design complex integration patterns between Salesforce and third-party systems (e.g., ServiceNow, ERPs, or middleware like MuleSoft).
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-suite executives, product owners, and developers to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Platform Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (LWC, Apex, Flows), and Identity & Access Management.
- Certifications: Often requires Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, and Certified Application/System Architect.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of integration patterns (APIs, Event-driven architecture), Salesforce security models, and DevOps processes.
- Experience: Typically requires 5–10+ years of Salesforce implementation experience, with at least 3–5 years in an architect-level role.
- Soft Skills: Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and provide mentorship to engineering teams.
