Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Integrator / GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in Analytical SQL, Google Cloud Platform, and Enterprise Data Warehousing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data integration tools, complex SQL query optimization, and cloud-based data processing. This role involves working with structured and unstructured data, supporting data migrations, and maintaining enterprise data pipelines in a cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Integration
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows and pipelines.
- Develop and optimize complex analytical SQL queries.
- Write functions, procedures, and scripts for performance tuning and optimization.
- Support Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) development and maintenance.
- Work with structured and unstructured data across multiple systems.
- Perform data validation and troubleshooting.
- Support database and cloud migrations.
- Maintain and enhance existing ETL workflows.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across systems.
Cloud & Platform Responsibilities
- Work with Google Cloud Platform services for data processing and storage.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using BigQuery and cloud technologies.
- Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Implement cloud-based data solutions.
- Support cloud migration projects.
- Work with Google Cloud data services such as Spanner and BigQuery.
ETL & Database Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica.
- Optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries.
- Support database performance tuning.
- Maintain data warehouse schemas and structures.
- Support Netezza to Cloud migration projects.
- Perform database troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Development & Support
- Follow SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Maintain version control using Bitbucket or similar tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
- Provide technical support to business and technical teams.
- Respond to technical queries and requests.
- Maintain documentation for processes and workflows.
- Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Team & Collaboration
- Work directly with clients to understand requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Work independently as a technical contributor.
- Provide technical guidance and support.
