Job Title: Senior Oracle CPQ Tech Lead / Technical Architect
Location: Irving, TX

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle CPQ Tech Lead / Technical Architect to develop, enhance, and support the Oracle CPQ Cloud application for a leading US-based industrial equipment manufacturer specializing in pumps, valves, and seals. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle CPQ (BigMachines), system integrations, and technical architecture, along with the ability to lead development efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions using best practices and design patterns.
• Develop and support Oracle CPQ applications including configuration, commerce, and document generation.
• Implement workflows, approval processes, transition rules, and user profiles.
• Develop and maintain CPQ rules such as:
• Recommendation Rules
• Hiding Rules
• Constraint Rules
• Configured Item Rules
• Write and maintain scripts using BML, BMQL, JavaScript, XML, and XSL.
• Integrate Oracle CPQ with ERP and CRM systems including Salesforce.
• Develop and maintain integrations using SOAP and REST web services.
• Participate in system design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical documentation for system architecture and deployment.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Support production deployments and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams.
• Report project status, risks, and mitigation plans on a regular basis.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership.

 

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience with Oracle CPQ (BigMachines).
• Strong experience in:
• Configuration
• Commerce
• Document Designer
• Quote Management
• Data Tables
• Strong experience with BML and BMQL scripting.
• Experience with CPQ JavaScript and CSS customization.
• Experience implementing workflows and approval processes.
• Experience integrating CPQ with ERP and CRM systems.
• Strong knowledge of:
• XML
• XSL
• SOAP
• REST Web Services
• Experience working with web service integrations.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Experience with version control systems.

 

Preferred Skills

• Oracle CPQ Implementation Professional Certification.
• Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with Salesforce.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial domain.
• Experience with complex product configurations.
• Knowledge of modern integration architectures.
