Job Title: Technical Lead – Patient Strategy
Location: San Francisco, CA
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Patient Strategy with strong expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud, AWS services, and AI-driven patient engagement solutions within the Pharma Commercial domain.
The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of patient-centric digital solutions, ensuring seamless data integration across platforms and enabling real-time AI-driven engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient CRM & Platform Architecture
Lead implementation and optimization of Salesforce Health Cloud or other Patient CRM platforms.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to define end-to-end data flows across systems.
Ensure a “single source of truth” for patient data across platforms.
Cloud & Data Integration
Design and integrate solutions across AWS ecosystem including:
Amazon Web Services services such as:
Lambda
Glue
S3
Athena
Work with Data Lakes and enterprise data pipelines to enable real-time processing.
AI Orchestration & Agentic AI
Lead development of Agentic AI solutions leveraging:
AWS Bedrock
Develop custom AI agents that:
Process real-time patient data
Deliver proactive nudges to patients and case managers
Enable intelligent automation for patient engagement workflows.
Data Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Pharma-specific regulations including:
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Regional data privacy regulations
Implement strong data governance and security controls.
Analytics & Optimization
Analyze complex healthcare datasets.
Troubleshoot data workflow issues.
Optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
Leadership & Stakeholder Communication
Translate complex technical solutions for business stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, compliance, data, and patient services.
Provide technical direction and mentoring to development teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud or Patient CRM systems.
Deep experience in AWS services (Lambda, Glue, S3, Athena).
Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and AI agent development.
Experience in Pharma Commercial domain with patient engagement tools.
Strong knowledge of healthcare data governance and regulatory compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
