Consultant (SAP FICO)
Location: Bay Area, California – Hybrid (Local Candidate’s)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Consultant (SAP FICO) for a large Bay Area-based client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Finance along with a solid understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting, and financial analysis. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The consultant will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to support financial processes, reporting requirements, and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support SAP FICO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA)
- Support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes and reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards
- Work with business users to gather and analyze requirements
- Provide functional support and troubleshooting for SAP Finance-related issues
- Assist with financial data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes
- Ensure data accuracy and financial compliance
- Participate in client meetings and provide functional expertise
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling)
- Experience with FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis
- Experience with SAP financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA)
- Experience in financial data analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in client-facing roles
- Ability to work onsite in the Bay Area
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP reporting tools
- Experience with financial dashboards
- SAP implementation or support experience
- Experience working with large enterprise clients
