Location: Phoenix, AZ

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Professional with experience in information security, risk management, vulnerability assessment, cloud security, security operations, and incident response. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting enterprise systems, applications, networks, and cloud environments by implementing security controls, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations & Monitoring

• Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and incidents across enterprise environments.
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate remediation activities.
• Perform threat detection, threat hunting, and security monitoring activities.
• Manage and improve Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.

Vulnerability Management

• Perform vulnerability assessments and security scans using industry-standard tools.
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Support penetration testing activities and remediation efforts.
• Maintain vulnerability management processes and reporting.

Security Architecture & Engineering

• Implement and maintain security controls across applications, networks, servers, and cloud environments.
• Review system architectures and designs to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Support Zero Trust Architecture initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions.
• Participate in secure application and infrastructure design reviews.

Cloud Security

• Implement security controls within AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
• Configure Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and cloud security monitoring.
• Support cloud compliance and governance initiatives.
• Conduct cloud security assessments and audits.
• Implement security best practices for cloud-native applications.

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Manage authentication, authorization, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
• Support IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, SailPoint, and CyberArk.
• Review user access privileges and conduct periodic access certifications.
• Implement least-privilege and role-based access controls.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

• Support compliance initiatives related to NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Participate in internal and external security audits.
• Develop security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Conduct security risk assessments and control evaluations.
• Support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities.

Security Automation & DevSecOps

• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support DevSecOps initiatives and automated security testing.
• Conduct Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate security findings.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Security Engineering, or Security Operations.
• Strong understanding of network security, application security, cloud security, and risk management.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and security monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
