Role – Backend Java Engineer with Golang

Location – Phoenix, AZ

Core Technical Requirements

1. Strong Java Engineer with Golang Exposure

·       Primary background in Java

·       Experience or working experience of Golang

·       Strong coding and problem-solving skills

·       Able to clear coding-focused technical interviews

2. Public Cloud Expertise

·       Strong hands-on experience with AWS

·       Knowledge of GCP is a plus

·       Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and services

·       Comfortable working on applications deployed in public cloud environments

3. Infrastructure-Focused Mindset

Since the team works closely with infrastructure:

·       Cloud networking fundamentals

·       Infrastructure architecture concepts

·       Kubernetes/containers (likely valuable)

·       CI/CD and deployment concepts

·       Understanding of platform engineering and operational aspects

·       Ability to collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams

Team & Technology Stack

The team:

·       Owns API Gateway platforms

·       Works primarily in:

o   Java

o   Golang

o   React

o   Node.js

·       Supports cloud-based enterprise platforms

·       Works heavily with infrastructure and cloud services

Ideal Candidate Profile

A strong backend engineer with Java as the primary skill, Golang experience, deep AWS/public cloud knowledge, and enough infrastructure understanding to operate effectively within an Enterprise Architecture/API Platform team.
