Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IAM Engineer with deep expertise in ForgeRock Identity Platform, Ping Identity, Java Development, and IAM Integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, customizing, and supporting enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions while ensuring secure authentication, authorization, user lifecycle management, and seamless integration across enterprise applications.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with ForgeRock components including OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, Identity Gateway (IG), LDAP technologies, Java/J2EE development, and identity federation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using ForgeRock technologies.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain ForgeRock components including OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, and Identity Gateway (IG).
• Develop and customize authentication, authorization, and access management workflows.
• Configure and customize ForgeRock Identity Gateway (IG) for secure application integrations.
• Develop Groovy scripts and custom workflows within ForgeRock environments.
• Customize ForgeRock user interfaces and authentication journeys.
• Implement user provisioning and deprovisioning solutions using OpenIDM.
• Design and manage LDAP directory services using OpenDJ and OpenLDAP.
• Develop Java/J2EE-based integrations to extend IAM platform functionality.
• Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, cloud services, and third-party platforms.
• Support SSO, MFA, federation, and modern authentication frameworks.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application development teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Participate in architecture reviews, security assessments, and IAM modernization initiatives.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting ForgeRock IAM solutions.
• Strong expertise in ForgeRock OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, and Identity Gateway (IG).
• Experience with Ping Identity solutions and WebAuthn authentication technologies.
• Strong Java/J2EE development and integration experience.
• Hands-on experience with LDAP directory services and identity repositories.
• Experience implementing SSO, MFA, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Security architecture.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Security certifications related to IAM or Identity Management.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise identity platforms.
